Age: 40
Career: IT Engineer
I started in July 2016 from 20 years on the couch. Started bootcamp training just 3-4 days a week. Now I train every day for at least 30 min. One day in September 2016 I couldn’t go to bootcamp and decided to run instead, the previous months’ training was enough to go for a slow 5k run without getting hurt, first time in my life! That run was at 7’50”/Km, now my pace is around 5’20”, less than a year after (with an odd 6km run in which the pace was 4’55”). Not only that, but now I can run for 12kms in about 1h8mins. There has been many painful days, but now I can run and train injury free. I’ve finished 6 races so far in 2017 and there are about 5-6 more to go before the end of the year. That’s a combination of OCR and hill run races. Training with the Pack literally changed my way of living. i.e. I travel quite often for work and leisure and now I have to pack my training clothes as well. Even on holidays I try to go for a run or whatever I can do to stay active Obviously this means I’ve lost fat weight and gained muscle weight (about 9kgs net loss and 5 inches of waist size), but more importantly I feel a lot healthier overall with a lot less headaches and backaches.
Still long way to go to be fully fit, but I’m definitively fitter than most now .

Age: 31
Career: Massage Therapist
I started training with Nick back in the summer of 2015 after having my second child.  Some may say I am competitive, this came from an early age when I swam at a national level and spent most my weekends at competitions. I used to go to the gym but was never keen and would stop going after a couple of months as I had no idea what I was doing and would just get bored and could never see the benefits. Nick introduced to strength and conditioning and I now love going to the gym and training.
I remember being proud of my first ever run after giving birth and made it to 1KM and died. I now don't have the problem and last year took part in my first ultra. Nick introduced me into OCR (obstacle course racing in 2016) I have now taken part in many races across the UK and recently travelled to Holland for the Europeans where I represented the UK.
I now have become a member of the Kitbrix OCR team and write my thoughts on my own blog - .
I love being a member of Pack Fitness and love going to the sessions - every session is different and pushes you but while you still are having fun, the group of people make you feel welcome and give so much support.
